Frequently Asked Questions about Seine River Cruise

Everything you need to know

What Is the Shortest Seine River Cruise Duration in Paris?

Answer: The shortest cruise in Paris lasts about one hour. These are the standard sightseeing cruises operated by well-known companies such as Bateaux Mouches, Bateaux Parisiens, Vedettes de Paris, or Vedettes du Pont Neuf. These cruises follow a round trip route and pass by famous Paris landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and more.

There is also a short cruise of about 30 minutes operated by Vedettes de Paris, but keep in mind that it is a one-way trip rather than a round trip.

If you also consider the Batobus, which is not really a cruise but more of a river taxi (hop-on hop-off), the sailing time between two stations is about 10 to 15 minutes. This means that if you get off at the first stop, the cruise will be very short for you.
