Start your day at the Eiffel Tower to catch those perfect morning photos and beat the long lines later in the day. Arrive right when it opens at 9:30am to zoom up to the top observation deck for awe-inspiring 360 degree views.

Afterward, walk over to the nearby Champ de Mars park and snap some shots of the Eiffel Tower from below. Join locals doing sport activities or simply relax in the grass.

Stroll through Les Invalides complex to see Napoleon’s tomb inside the impressive golden-domed church. Marvel at the military museum’s massive collection of weapons and armor as well.

Hop on the metro and head to Ile de la Cité island located on the Seine River. Visit the mighty Notre Dame Cathedral, admiring the facade, stained glass Rose Windows and interior treasures.

Cross the street to Sainte-Chapelle, a Gothic chapel with floor-to-ceiling stained glass considered a masterpiece.

Have a quick French café lunch in the Latin Quarter or grab a crepe to go. Then spend the early afternoon wandering the Latin Quarter’s vibrant student neighborhood around Boulevard Saint-Michel. Pop into the Sorbonne University and browse adorable bookshops like Shakespeare & Co.

Walk north alongside the Seine until you reach the Louvre Museum. Spend at least 2 hours here seeing top highlights like the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and the museum’s vast antiquities.

Cross the pedestrian bridge Pont des Arts for classic views along the Seine. Walk along the riverbank past the Orsay Museum through the Tuileries Garden, stopping to ride the 19th century carousel if you’d like.

End up at the Arc de Triomphe and climb the stairs to the top for panoramic views down the glamorous Champs Elysées. Pose for a photo with this iconic Parisian monument.

Taxi or metro to Montmartre for dinner with a view at a restaurant like Café Muguet. Then head to Sacré-Cœur basilica, glowing white atop the hill.
